GAF’s Master Flow Pivot Pipe Boot Flashing, featuring a “ball/socket” component for simple rooftop pitch adjustment, helps protect against damaging leaks at plumbing vent pipe penetrations while adding to the aesthetics of the roof. Designed with an all-metal exterior body that completely covers exposed pipes and available in a variety of sizes and colors, it eliminates the need for gaskets, caulks, or rubber seals that can wear down over time.
To assist with easier installation, the Master Flow Pivot Pipe Boot Flashing now includes newly enhanced UV-resistant polymer pipe inserts for improved flexibility for non-standard pipes and a redesigned internal twist-lock to allow for easier insert changes. This is in addition to features such as pre-punched nail fastening guides, rooftop pitch adjustment 3:12 – 12:12, directional installation arrows, and shingle termination guides.
An overall 50% reduction in SKUs improves ease of ordering, installing and stocking with the new Pivot combo units. The small combo unit will include 1.5” & 2” interchangeable inserts. The large combo unit will include 3” & 4” interchangeable inserts. Additionally the new combo units will be packaged in single-pack boxes for convenience.
It passes the 110 mph wind-driven rain test per TAS-100(A) and UL 2218 Class 4 impact resistance test* and warrantied against leaks caused by manufacturing defects or ordinary wear and tear for the length of the warranty on the adjacent roof cladding, not to exceed 50 years, and is eligible for enhanced warranty coverage when installed by a contractor certified by GAF in connection with a qualifying roofing system.
